Today, August 27th 2011, the 20th annual prayer ceremony will be held at Wat Promkunaram Temple in Waddell Arizona to remember and pay respects to the 6 monks, a nun and 2 novice Monks who were murdered in the Wat by 2 teenage boys in the early morning hours of August 9th 1991.

Monks and followers from all around the world will gather at the still functioning Wat for a day prayer and remembrance. Those of who could not make the trip payed their respects at local Wats by praying and lighting incense.
