Actually, today was our second visit to Wat Thongdhammachat. On out last visit, the Abbot was out of town. Randomly, we decided to pay a visit today and brought some yummy Pad mee for the monks.

This Wat is beautiful. The Thai wood work and golden statues make you feel as if your back in Thailand.

We were two of 15 people at today's service. Everyone was quote friendly and helpful to us strangers.

The Abbot, Phramaha Dr. Thongchan Suwong, teaches a meditation class daily at 7am and 4pm which we plan on attending.

For more info on this Wat take a look at their website http://www.thaibuddhist.org/
